Fallacies blurs the lines between original source and personal interpretation, constructing dance from a dancer’s perspective. Distorting referential choreography to reveal new patterns and physical possibilities, Fallacies makes invisible embodied histories - visible.

This work was developed in part through residences at Marble House Project, Coffey Street Studios, 14th Street Y and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Arts Center Residency program as well as production support from Amanda + James, and Philip Trevino. Additionally this project was supported, in part, by a Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant and individual donors. Fallacies was presented as part of the 2024 River to River Festival, with the support of Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels.
